6 Key
Competency Map
Our curriculum is built upon the OECD Learning Compass 2030, focusing on six transformative competencies essential for success in an unpredictable and fast-evolving world.
We develop them through a unique blend of:
- Sapiens Competency Map and programs for personal growth and autonomy;
- Polish National Curriculum – civic, ethical, and cultural grounding;
- Ivy League Pedagogy – innovation, reflection, and project-based learning.
This fusion prepares students not just for exams, but for life.

Self-Regulation
Developing emotional intelligence, self-discipline, and resilience. Students learn how toset personal goals, manage time, and deal with stress. These skills enhance mental well-being and academic performance.

Communication
Honing verbal and non-verbal communication across diverse settings. This includes active listening, public speaking, digital literacy, and multilingual proficiency—vital in global careers and multicultural teams.

Critical Thinking
Cultivating curiosity, evidence-based reasoning, and ethical decision-making. Students engage in debates, simulations, and problem-solving that sharpen their analytical skills.

Creativity
Encouraging innovative thinking, experimentation, and artistic expression. Through design thinking, arts integration, and cross-disciplinary projects, students build confidence and originality.

Adaptability & Flexibility
Preparing students to navigate uncertainty, change careers, and embrace lifelong learning. Real-world simulations, diverse work formats, and interdisciplinary learning promote agility.

Cooperation
Building collaboration, empathy, and conflict resolution skills. Students work on joint projects, participate in peer feedback, and contribute to the school community.

Signature Events that Expand Learning
At Sapiens, learning extends far beyond the classroom. Our signature events are immersive, student-led experiences that spark creativity, foster real-world skills, and build meaningful connections with the world around us. These moments become milestones in our educational journey—where knowledge meets action, ideas take shape, and every voice can make an impact.
TEDx Sapiens Up School Youth
One red dot. Countless young voices.
TEDx Sapiens Up School Youth is an independently organized TEDx event created together with teenagers, students, and young educators from different educational environments.
Sapiens students take an active role not only as speakers, but also as co-organizers, participating in media, communication, backstage coordination, design, and event production.
Through this experience, students develop real-world competencies in communication, teamwork, leadership, responsibility, project management, and public speaking.
TEDx Sapiens Up School Youth is more than an event; it is a space where young people learn to turn ideas into action and become part of meaningful projects with real impact.
Arts, Design & IT Expos
“Visions” is our flagship exhibition where art, design, and technology come together to celebrate creativity and innovation. Showcasing work from our Arts and Design and Computer Science & Coding specialisations, the expo features fashion, video art, graphic design, coding projects, product prototypes, and more.
Students present their year-long work to families, peers, and guests—gaining real feedback, confidence, and a deeper understanding of creative communication.
For a few days, our school transforms into a gallery, a lab, and a studio—where imagination takes shape.
Cultural Festivals
A vibrant celebration of global traditions and local identities, the Cultural Festival reflects the rich diversity of our school community. Through food, music, fashion, language, and student-led performances, we honour the cultures that shape us—creating space for curiosity, dialogue, and joy.
This event is more than a celebration; it’s a living mosaic of who we are, where every student’s and teacher’s background becomes a source of pride, empathy, and connection.
Hackathons
This high-energy, 8-hour sprint is one of the most exciting days of the year. The Hackathon unites students in multi-age teams to tackle real-world challenges through design thinking, innovation, and technology.
It’s not just about coding—it’s about bold problem-solving. Teams dive into user-focused issues, prototype fast, and pitch their ideas to a product owner.
Along the way, students build resilience, teamwork, and strategic thinking—discovering they don’t have to wait to make an impact. They can start now.
Dream Job Program
The Dream Job Initiative connects students with professionals—from architects and artists to lawyers and engineers—offering real-world insights through interviews, mentorships, company visits, and job shadowing.
Students ask big questions and start to shape their own paths. They explore careers, build confidence, and learn what working life is really like.
This program brings career education to life—fueling both aspiration and direction.
Literary & Creative Writing Events
“Literaturnyk” is a soulful evening celebrating language and self-expression. Held several times a year, it invites students, teachers, and guests to share original poems, monologues, music, and reflections.
With candles, cushions, and heartfelt honesty, it’s a space where shy voices grow stronger and diverse identities shine through multilingual performances.
Students not only perform but also organize the event—curating the program, decor, and atmosphere. It’s education for the soul.
